A Day At The Zoo

The last day of the kids' Easter Break from school we wanted to do something fun together. The kids had asked for months to see the new sea lion cove at Chaffee Zoo. So, I took the day off of work and we spent the day at the Zoo.

This little monkey's first trip to the zoo. Had to put her in her
pants with the monkey on the butt. (I can't get this photo to insert
correctly. It keeps rotating when I upload the image on blog.

Feeding the giraffes was a a treat for Rebecca, Ethan and Kendall.

This condor's wingspan was amazing. Everybody was
grossed out when the zookeeper came out to feed it lunch
of dead rats.

Kendall wanted Daddy to take a picture of her
with this orangutan statue.

Balancing like the flamingos behind them.

Loved the cuddle time with Amanda while Russ took the other
three to see the stingrays.
