It's Independance Day

4th of July 2012

Aaron & Tracee and the kids came over for a fun day of hanging out, eating and setting off some fireworks out in front of our home.

Rebecca and Kendall helped me make some festive treats to eat during the day. Got the ideas off of Pinterest.
Aaron ready to get the party started!

Kendall sitting with her big cousin Emily getting ready for the fireworks.

Tracee lighting the kids' sparklers.

Kendall wasn't afraid to hold the sparkler with her protective holder crafted out of a Solo cup. Another idea from Pinterest that keeps little fingers from getting sparks on them.

Ethan likes the cover too for his sparklers.
Each family bought fireworks and then we combined them for a fun night!

We ended the night with 2 show stoppers..Molton Pot and another one I can't think of the name. They last about 3 minutes each and offer some good entertainment.

Russ and I enjoying the fireworks.
