Rebecca's 10th Birthday - Yeehaw!

In many ways it is hard to believe our oldest is double-digits now! She is such a beautiful girl inside and out. She has fallen in love with horses this year and has read practically every book she could get her hands on and seen every movie about a girl and her horse. I remember being the same way when I was her age. It started for me after reading Misty of Chincoteague and never stopped. I still dream of living on some land with a couple of horses to take care of and ride. Rebecca begs us to buy a home in the country. Maybe one day :)

It came as no surprise then that for the theme of her 10th Birthday, Rebecca wanted it to be western. It was a lot of fun and the girls looked so cute in their cowgirl outfits.

The Cowgirls L-R: (Back Row - Abbie, Naya; Front Row - Rebecca, Bethany, Delaney, Lexi, Jacki, & Kristine.)

One of the games was a contest of shooting empty cans off of the table using a high powered water gun. Whoever shot the most off before the gun ran out of water won. Bethany got the most.

Rebecca's favorite food is ribs so of course we had to have those on the menu.

Such a goofy girl!

Another game was having the girls guess the number of candies in each jar. The closest guess without going over won. Jacki won the jelly bellies, Lexi won the jolly ranchers and Bethany won the gumballs.

Game of Hot Potato with of course, a real hot potato. The girl holding the hot potato when the country music stopped was out of the game.

Naya - Next was a game of horseshoes.
Lexi - the horseshoes were a bit heavy for the girls

Rebecca didn't want a cake or cupcakes...she requested cinnamon rolls!

Time to open gifts!
