Christmas Eve

One of our favorite traditions is spending Christmas Eve with Russ' family. We eat lots of yummy Italian food and treats, play games and the kids get to open gifts from Noni and Papa. I can't believe I forgot to get a picture of the food spread Violet prepares. Some of my favorites from this year were tortellini, the best meatballs, roasted brussel sprouts, of course the crab and shrimp, and persimmon cookies. Mouth is watering just thinking about it!!

Billy and Amber - Our kids love when they babysit. In fact they had been over the night before to watch them while we went out for dinner and a movie.

Sister love - Samantha and Amber. Kendall looks a lot like Samantha did at the same age. In fact, Samantha was about Kendall's age when we got married and is now a freshman in college. Time does fly by.

Kendall helped hand out the gifts to the kids with Noni's help reading the tags. She was so cute whenever she saw hers she'd say, "I know this is mine because it has a "K" and two "L's" at the end."

Kendall LOVED her pink umbrella! She even slept with it that night.
